While drab in comparison to the lady gouldian finch, societies make up for it as great additions to the bird room with their colorful antics and ease of breeding. Many a finch breeder has counted on them as foster parents for the more tempremental species.

"The Stack". Located in the back of the birdroom, these breeding cages contain pied and self society finches. The breeding stack accomodates four cages, though the third one down is actually a double breeder, allowing for five breeding pairs to be set up.
